Queer Camp is run by Ty Turner, hundreds of thousands of YouTube subscribers. The format is a longer, multi-night stay in New Mexico, and the ticket is really a pass into the community. The archery is set dressing.

What began as trans YouTuber Ty Turner inviting a dozen fans on a group camping trip has become an annual week of eco-camping on a 156-acre wilderness preserve outside Santa Fe. Campers hike, climb trees, throw spears, and cap nights with karaoke, goth night, and a community drag show. It grew to 40+ campers in 2025 and now sells out before the season starts.

The experience

The format: week-long sleepaway (eco-camping). Plan real time off. This runs longer than a weekend, and the extra nights are where the camp part actually happens. Campers are adults only.
