Dungeons & Cabins is a geek and fandom camp for adults in California. It runs as a weekend sleepaway: you stay over, someone else plans the days, and the group eats together. That's the pitch, and it's enough.

Founded by professional dungeon master and game designer Sammy Glicker, Dungeons & Cabins books out a SoCal forest camp ('Paladin's Retreat') for weekends of interconnected multi-table D&D campaigns, where one table's choices ripple into another's. Between sessions campers do archery and crafts like any good summer camp. Now in its third year, all three 2025 weekends sold out.

The experience

The format: weekend sleepaway, multiple sessions per season. Two or three nights, all logistics handled. If you've never done an adult camp, this length is the on-ramp. It's adults only: no kids programming, no family sessions mixed in.

Cost

Published price: not published on main page. There's no simple rate card, so ignore any number you see on a third-party site and ask the operator. For calibration: most all-inclusive adult camp weekends in North America run $400 to $1,000.
