Epic Nerd Camp is a geek and fandom camp for adults in Maryland. It runs as a longer, multi-night stay: you stay over, someone else plans the days, and the group eats together. That's the pitch, and it's enough.
Running since 2016, Epic Nerd Camp is the flagship camp for grown-up geeks: five days of LARP, tabletop gaming, quidditch, wand-making, and 'doing IRL what your character does in-game.' Historically hosted in the Poconos, the 21+ camp moved to Camp Ramblewood in Darlington, Maryland, with 2026 registration open for August 15-19. Lodging, food, and activities are bundled in the ticket.
The experience
The format: 5-day/4-night sleepaway (21+). It's a longer stay. The awkwardness burns off in the first day or so; the rest is pure camp. It's adults only: no kids programming, no family sessions mixed in.
Cost
Published price: ~$600-900 USD all-inclusive. That's the going rate. Most all-inclusive camp weekends in North America land between $400 and $1,000. Lodging and meals are bundled here, so the sticker price is close to the real price.
Where and when
The venue is in Darlington (Camp Ramblewood), Maryland. Dates, as best we can verify: August 15-19, 2026.
